Renew Atlanta holds meeting on options to make DeKalb Ave. ‘complete street’

On March 30, the Renew Atlanta team presented road and infrastructure options for a proposed overhaul of the DeKalb Avenue corridor. The $4.6 million “complete street” project would cover 4.4 miles of the road, and would involve milling and repaving the road, improving the sidewalks and making them more accessible to people who are disabled. Some ideas on the table include dedicated left turn lanes and getting rid of the  reversible middle lane so the left turn lanes can be longer. Read more on Decaturish.com.
