City of Atlanta Awarded $10 Million TIGER Grant for Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive Innovation Corridor Project

Mayor Kasim Reed announced that the City of Atlanta has been awarded a $10 million TIGER grant for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive Innovation Corridor Project. The TIGER grant will fund mobility, safety and aesthetic improvements on the seven-mile road from downtown Atlanta to the western limits of the city, enhancing access for the thousands of people who live, work and travel along the corridor.
